Copyright Question

Hi,

Just a quick question,
Is it legal to use snapshots from a DVD to use on a website?

I ask this as would like to create a fansite and use snapshots of charecters from a DVD i own.
Is this classed as copyright infrigment?

It says that for fan sites you wouldn't be covered by fair use, as you would if it was a site to critique the movies.

No problem. Thought I would add, in my opinion I would just risk it. I reckon the worst that would happen is the company would ask you to take the pictures down, and the chances of that happening are probably quite slim.
