Copyright Law for Websites

Hi,

I am making a media resources site and want to put several different types of media on there. (Because then it's not really a media site )

But i am not sure about the Copyright rules and regulations. Could somebody please give me a clear definition of what i can and can't do copyright wise.

Also it would be good if you put a disclaimer at the front page of the site - basically as long as it's for educational purposes, non profit and your crediting the broadcaster; you should be fine.
