What channels included in the website?

why do you actually need any ads at all? is it to make your site look professional? isn't it obvious that nobody at all in their right mind is going to click on them, and you're probably only earning about 5 pence?

You can actually make a reasonable amount of money from these ad companies. The only problem is you have to reach the £30 threshold before they send any money out.
I remember I used one and I think it was Tesco that gave you 1p for everyclick. Things like BT were giving you £2 per signup from your site etc. Loads of good ways to bring in money. My webhost runs a scheme like this for their own service where if someone signup to their service they'll pay you £40 or something near to it. (Depending on the package)
Edit: OH YES.. You need to have something half decent on your site to get the vistors to click.

So, if you set up a script to access that ad url over and over, couldn't you earn a lot of money?

And is of course highly disrespectful to those of us who make our livings from affiliate marketing...

There's lots in the T&C's for every company that tells you how you earn your money.
Your IP is taken and you can't use the same IP in a certain amount of time while clicking the ad. It was a while ago but they have means and ways to prevent you from doing all this.

It's all irrelevant if the visitor uses an ad-blocker.
I do and I never see an ad on any website
It saves a hell of a lot of bandwidth as well as the HTML is parsed before being sent to the browser and all ads, JavaScript and cookies are blocked to make the page completely safe to view

You couldn't as it uses cookies
So then you just delete them!
