Why do you think that it's a bit messy?
I think the new look is a vast improvement for the site. I still miss the old old site with things like your own email address, the pinboards (even though they didn't go that long ago), and the studio webcams (though a studio would be needed).

The tots site is decent though.

Good to see they still can't design it so that in a 1024 x 768 screen resolutions horizontal scrolling doesn't occur.

I think what ITV are now doing with their website is dumb
No, not the actual site, that's fine, I'm talking about their URLs - on TV, they will always say "Visit our website at www.itv.com/citv" but then when you go on, it directs you to www.citv.co.uk. IF THEY HAVE SHORTER, MORE MEMORABLE DOMAINS BEING USED, WHY DON'T THEY F****G USE THEM!? Saying itv.com/citv just makes it harder to remember - not much harder, but still a little bit harder. It's the same with the I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here/Celebrity Love Island website. They advertise it as www.itv.com/celebrity, but once again, you get redirected to a shorter URL - www.itv-celebrity.com. WHY? If anyone knows of any other ITV redirection URLs, please tell me. But my main point is, why don't they advertise the shorter URLs? Surely they must have to pay for the additional domains....

I would hazard a guess that it's to do with corporate branding. I would assume that ITV have said that they want their programmes to refer to their website as www.itv.com/xxxxxxxxx - so they do.
I guess that they snap up other domains to prevent other people getting hold of them.
