At least Asa doesn't go snobby over user names unlike that guy that runs the Doctor Who Restoration Team website.

I posted taking exception to his proper names policy & the tw*t banned me. (I didn't use my proper name, but used one that looked 'real'!)(I don't want to reveal my proper name, even though there is a big clue in my username, plus everybody knows me as Westy anyway, even BBC WM !)

He don't listen to reason either, just 'Another name for the banned list (NT)' !

I used to post on there & I never played up either!

I'd understand if I had been playing up, but I hadn't.

About time some of these website moderators cut a bit of slack IMO.

By all means, ban the people who play up obviously, but the people who behave, don't alleinate with stupid rules like this!

We love you Asa!

We love him? We hardly know him! The only time we actually saw him was on that Liquid News report he put up shortly before TV Home closed down, where he was talking about the new BBC2 idents.

I'm sorry, but you can't just say "We love you!!" to someone you hardly know over the internet. Would you say "I love you!!" to someone you didn't know at all? Well, I wouldn't, but I don't know about you...

I want your children.

Well, you would, seeing as you can't tell the difference between "there" and "they" and are just crap at English in general anyway.

He has dyslexia, as well you know. It doesn't excuse there/they, but it does the 'bad English'.

Hi all,

Well thanks for all the nice comments! But a big thanks should also go to the mods who really help keep the site going (especially this weekend when I was away up north! Wink ) and to everyone who keeps on posting and visiting.

There was definitely a gap on the net in 2001 for a fully fledged public forum discussing recent television pres and it's great to see the site's still here entering its seventh year.

The new software is ticking along nicely as and when I get five minutes and hopefully won't be too much longer until everyone can give it a test and we can lose this old design...

Cheers, Asa
