The thing that made Bullsye for me was Jim Bowen. And as he said he will not do the show again (correct me if i'm wrong on that fact) i think re-hashing it would be stupid.
And lets face it, if it was re-hashed, it would never be in prime-time, it would be in the afternoon schedule and will be hosted by one of those presenters that appear out of nowhere that nobody likes.
I don't really see the point. It's a good petition but it will never go the way you want it to.

That's strange - I was just thinking about how I would alter the format of Bullseye should it come back (and I had that dubious power) a couple of nights ago.
I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't alter the actual format, just the prizes.
So, on to Round 1.
Instead of having the £30, £50, £70 and £100 sections on the 'quiz' dart board, I would have £50, £75, £100 and £200 to aim at.
Then the correct answer bonus for the first question would be £50, £100 for the second question and £200 for the third.
Round 2 - three darts highest score answers question - no change
Round 3 - Bully's prize board. Right fundamental change here. Unless you are aiming for an ironic joke, you simply can't get away with the hostess trolly or £100 worth of books selection of prizes.
So instead, I'd add an extra numbered section on the board - so now it's 1-9 + Bull, and each number refers to the value you win in £00's (hit the 5 = £500, hit the 8 = £800) the bull would either be £1000 straight or would double the final amount won with those 9 darts (not sure).
Final round - the gamble. Now, whilst I know I'm lobbing the baby out with the bath water here, and ditching the shows most famous catchphrase - nothing would be hiding behind Bully.
Instead, the gamble - as now - would be to get 101 in 6 darts. If the team hit the magical 101, all the money won by the team in the show would be doubled, and each one of the two would get that amount each. However, If they lost, the total sum won would be halved, and they would have to share between them the remaining amount.
E.g - Before the gamble - Prize money won £4,000
WIN - Doubled. Both would win £8,000.
LOSE - Prize money halved to £2,000, this is shared so each would win just £1,000.
