bbc.co.uk - home / Dr Who

I noticed this afternoon that the BBC home page is using a different method of promotion on its home page. The "bbc.co.uk Home" text is altering between the normal line and advertising a "doctor who exclusive".

Is this the first time this method of promoting/advertising has occurred. The last time I recall the home page logo being altered was to mark the ashes win.

I don't like this idea, don't know why.

there it is though. it's broken as the stylesheet has changed since but you can see the graphic.

I know, it's so TVFesq it's unreal. Course if bbc.co.uk had crashed right after the change had been made that would have topped it off...
