Bbc.co.uk Down?

Just tried to access bbc.co.uk on a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and it isn't working saying there is a DNS error.

Anybody else having this problem?

A number of sites seem to be having problems today. I couldn’t get onto Discogs earlier (seems to be working now though).

bbc.co.uk is working yet anything that is *.bbc.com isn't such as the log in page

There is (or was) a major internet outage today, so the sites may not be down, and only appear to be down because of the way (in a nutshell) the way the internet works.

Access to websites works through hops. There are always multiple servers between you and any other website (including a key one that converts your wanted website to a series of numbers, otherwise the entire system just doesn't work), and it only needs one of those hops en-route to fail and your path to the website is blocked.
