Perhaps they're getting ready for the new weather computer they bought about 6 months ago from NZ?

Just having a look at this page and looking at Alex and Matt's jobs today, they are doing Heathrow Express!?!? What is that about?? I think it is forcasts for the train service piped in on the intercom, but ill think ill find im wrong about that!

Heathrow Express plays out a BBC World 15-min Bulletin followed by the Weather.

In vision-or audio??

Well I'd imagine it's in Video, as the News bulletin is shown in Video, though I've never been to Heathrow anyway so I'm not that sure.

I didn't realise BFBS was still running - have BBC always provided forecasts for them. Also, looking through the schedule they also show Breakfast and This Morning. I'm guessing that This Morning is live?

It is indeed video. Heathrow Express has integrated LCDs located throughout both First and Standard Class cabins. They show a five-minute BBC WORLD bulletin recorded earlier on, followed by the weather. The whole journey from Heathrow to London Paddington takes just over fifteen minutes in total. The video presentation which includes the news and weather also shows a 'welcome aboard' introduction, a number of adverts, and a 'welcome to your destination' announcement with various bits of information.

Ok not a total revamp -The colour scheme looks the same, but there are a few changes. Even further changes will occur over the next few months, particularly to aid navigation and usability, improve presentational aspects...
