If this is in the wrong section, then please feel free to move.

I will be attending a school reunion within the next couple of months and we have been asked to all bring along something to reflect on the old days.

My class back in 1999 appeared on the kids gameshow 50/50 when BBC Scotland were still at Queen Margaret Drive.

How know how I would go about requesting a copy and does anyone know what the likely costs are to get a copy?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/faqs/contributor_access_process - you would probably be able to get a copy through the Contributor Access process since you were on the show (I did this to get a copy of a quiz show I appeared in a while back). It looks like it would cost £60 for a DVD copy.

Could the school have a copy maybe, taped off the air possibly?

Failing that, Contributor access is the other route, unless the episode has found its way onto YouTube and the like.

I've went down the Contributor route to see if they can get it out to me.

Cool, did you partake in any of the games or did you just sit on the sides? IIRC not everybody on 50/50 got to partake in a game.

Just sat on the sides. However I did get caught trying to tell someone an answer...

She wasn't the brightest. She thought Marge Simpson's hair was yellow. I'll say no more than that.

Maybe she was thinking of Maggie Simpson, who does have yellow hair?

Maybe brightness had nothing to do with it. Even really bright people who can calculate pi to hundreds of places off the top of their heads freeze under pressure on occasion.

Hopefully the girl in question grew up and is now teaching in a University somewhere. This is where you follow up and say she was actually run over by a bus a few years later. But hopefully you're not going to say that. Smile

She crossed the road because she thought the light was blue, and was run over.
