That was more of an experiment as they had the screen space, as that credit style was only ever used on EastEnders and was designed for BBC One's (admittedly half-arsed) ECP design, as no other programmes used it, not even the omnibus, so it was a bit strange really.
BBC Three didn't have an ECP of its own, though it did use the later "corporate" one, which was later spoofed in a Screenwipe segment:
