No - Originally I wanted a new look but now I have changed my mind.
But because NewsWatch has had a website design totally different to the frontpage. Which I thought would mean a new look for BBC New Online - I was asking others for there opinion on whether it should be changed to match NewsWatch.

No it shouldn't, and no there isn't a revamp planned.

Isn't the NewsWatch site in the style of About BBC News? Which is different to the main news site?

NewsWatch doesn't have a website and his so called website is BBC's.

What?

Try reading back your posts before comitting them to the web - this makes no sense whatsoever!

The biggest mistake any corporation can make, ever, is making a change(s) just for sake of change. It happens all too often and money is lost twice -- once making the change and again reverting it. Other than aesthetics, can you come up with an actual criticism against the BBC News site?

Are you actually suggesting that we might have believed that the BBC's NewsWatch website belonged to the forum user known as NewsWatch?

Another day, another form of rebrand for the BBC's website. Now, instead of the small BBC logo we have bbc.co.uk in fairly large letters, it's change for changes sake and fairly annoying.

it's a bit big, but it's better than that awful pixelated BBC logo they used to have.

That pixilated logo really gets on my nerves!

And it's technically incorrect too. As a gif it doesn't have transparency and thus its colour differs from its surroundings slightly; in addition, its antialising is sharp, which makes the letters look unpleasing aesthetically.
