Does anyone else think that the BBC News website is despretly needing a new look?

They have used the same *Style* for years!! All they have changed is the BBC News Logo!

Does CMS ever stay up long enough for them to do a whole revamp?

Never mind...

Anyway I don't think NOL needs to be revamped. It's clean, quick, and easy to get from sections to section with the world region and topics bar on the left hand side. No gripes with it from me!

it would be nice if they could tart up the old pages and get rid of all the links to outdated video or at least put a notice on them saying they are there for reference only.

Apart from that it seems fine although it would be nice if they got rid of all the waste in the code. Is there really a need for about 10 carridge returns between each link on the left?

Now, now Mr Harvey. News Online is made with CPS, not M ... The News one is pretty funky, it has to be said.

Nothing - Just that Newswatch has a comletley different to normal BBC NEws - Does this mean a new look for BBC News Online???

at the start of this thread you said it needed a new look, now you say you only expected a new look because a website launched several days after your first post

No - Originally I wanted a new look but now I have changed my mind.
But because NewsWatch has had a website design totally different to the frontpage. Which I thought would mean a new look for BBC New Online - I was asking others for there opinion on whether it should be changed to match NewsWatch.
