It could also be the case everyone trying to fit though a door at the same time
ie the team are working away with the emails sent in.

Looking back through my history, it looks like most, if not all, of the corrections I submitted last weekend have now been changed on the website, but not those from the last couple of days yet, so it does look like they are gradually getting through them all. I don't understand why there's no registration or verification to submit a change either, you'd think at least you'd have to be signed in with a BBC iD.
There are so many errors on the site I wonder if they will ever be able get them all cleaned up, for example who's going to be the one to go through and correct the 189 occasions that John Peel appears on Radio 1 as "John Pool"? Not to mention various occasions where dates have got mixed up, or when one or more consecutive programmes have got stuck together.

A quick look for Xmas 1979 on ITV shows a full 30 minute evening regional bulletin on Christmas Eve. Unthinkable now.
So much effort used to be put into ITV regional bulletins at Christmas up to 2004 at least, nowadays you're lucky to get a decent tree in the studio!
http://ukchristmastv.weebly.com/ A strange one someone has uploaded the Xmas tv guide from TV times etc.
