Being able to search through and find (virtually) anything the BBC has broadcast - now that's exciting!
I note that the montage at the bottom of the page has already been regularly updated, just change the number in the URL. http://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/images/montage-v7.jpg

Great site. It appears Family Guy was shown on BBC2 in 2007 to give analogue viewers the opportunity to watch with debut episodes on Three.

Huh. Seems that the Mickey Mouse cartoon that aired each side of the wartime shutdown wasn't the originally scheduled one. The schedule for 1 September 1939 lists Touchdown Mickey instead of Mickey's Gala Premier.

Family Guy's first home on the Beeb (after C4 and Sky One had failed to make it a hit) was on BBC2, in 2005, shown on Saturday nights back to back with American Dad (http://genome.ch.bbc.co.uk/schedules/bbctwo/england/2005-10-22). I think they got it free with American Dad, in fact. It flopped there and by Christmas they were stripping both after Newsnight. The following year they dumped Family Guy on BBC3 (where it was originally shown at midnight) but kept the repeats on BBC2 for a bit to fill gaps and that. American Dad lasted a bit longer on BBC2 but also ended up on BBC3 in the end.
