There's a message on the front page of the BBC Cult website saying that the site will remain online for the time-being but no updates will be made to the content. The message goes onto say that new locations are being found for as much of the content as possible.

clearly you missed the very large goodbye message on the site underneath the fabulous conveyor belt of tv screens with only k9 flying into the sky and no falling into the abyss with the others
