BARB public ratings website gone?

Do you now have to subscribe to read ratings data? (August 2018)

This site closed in March 2021 and is now a read-only archive

Today I went looking for the BARB data site to look at some current ratings data for Impact Wrestling and WWE programming, only to find the site changed completely and you need a registration key to even register for the site. Does this mean the weekly top 10s and channel ratings are now subscriber only?

Works just fine for me. See if the direct link works

Yeah, works fine, and the site design hasn't changed either. Maybe you clicked on a fake link?

Nope, typed in barb.co.uk into my browser. Didn't click any link. The direct link provided above works, but trying to go in via the front page takes you to a mediatel log in page..

I can access it fine also, I'd suggest performing virus checks.

Hmm, I'm wondering if its an issue with my ISP, rather than a virus issue.

I accessed it fine from my phone, even with living in the US.

If you go to http://barb.co.uk/, you get redirected to https://www.barb.co.uk/

If you go to http s ://barb.co.uk/, you get a security warning because the certificate for that site is only valid for *.mediatel.co.uk. If you override the security warning, you get a Mediatel login page.

I assume Mediatel set up a quick redirect from barb.co.uk to www.barb.co.uk without correctly allowing for HTTPS.

I believe so, since I get the expected page whether I use www or not and whether it's http or https. None of this Mediatel nonsense. If it was a virus issue, David probably wouldn't have seen what you saw. You two wouldn't happen to be on the same ISP would you?
