Auction-Heaven.Net
The first and best fansite completely dedicated to bid-up.tv is now running at Auction-Heaven.net
Over the next few days we'll be cleaning up the pages that are looking a bit bare, and of course updating frequently.
You can browse biographies, video clips and images of all presenters - past and present, download games, simulators and other mocks, talk to other bid-up fans in our forum (as well as membership to our sister site HeavenlyGossip.com)
There's a variety of video clips covering the various on-screen looks, idents, adverts and more.
We're always adding to it, and value comments about it, clips and more to help us Smile
The goal is to have a comprehensive Encyclopedia Bid-up and we think we're getting there. We've had to delay the opening for various sites, so hopefully by opening it now we can encourage ourselves to push it to sort it all out.
Thanks for visiting Very Happy

Unfortunately, we've had to greatly reduce the quality of the music and cut out large chunks of the tracks because of copyright and limitations. Please note that you cannot save these files to your hard disk, you cannot redistribute them or rebroadcast them without express written permission from SIT-UP LTD.

Erm. When you listen to the file, you download it to your internet cache on your disk - so you save it to your disk unless you stream it using a server (e.g. Helix). Even then you can download it using software freely available on the internet.

Secondly, do you have permission to reproduce these files on your website?

I seem to be getting vibes of "I've got the clean bidup music I'm not going to share it with you nyah nyah nyah nyah" Wink

Well yes, obviously there's a million and one ways anyone COULD extract the music if they really wanted to - but the bitrate is as you hear.
We do indeed have permission to stream the music in the quality you hear.
Thanks to everyone who has visited so far Smile

It looks like it's bitten the dust or kicked the bucket as it were.

Ah well, another promising site fades away.
