Hello. When I was a kid, I used to love looking at websites such as Afternoon Programmes Follow Shortly and Java-TV. There were many classic designs, all asking what if television could have been different.

With that in mind, and the fact that I'm still looking for mocks that were on TV Live Presents, I decided to set up this topic to help revisit those classic websites, and create a proper archive for those designs

For this I will need your help to post as many mocks from Java-TV, Afternoon Programmes Follow Shortly and TV Live Presents as you can. Together we can create a good archive and revisit memories at the same time.

There are some mocks available, and I will post some on here when I can.

So please help contribute to this project because this is a celebration of mock-making. I'm sure and positive that revisiting these mocks will inspire the mocks of the future.

If you have any questions, please PM me. TY.

Also, does anyone have the archive link for APFS?

Fantastic idea - I've still got most of my old APFS images, though the quality suffers due to making them all in 320x240 which on an 800x600 monitor looked huge but look tiny today! Would have to redo a few though as what I thought looked alright when I was in my early teens now looks hilariously ****, but the later ones especially (like the ATV gallery I did in January 2005) aren't too bad.

http://web.archive.org/web/20060331012922/http://www.apfs-tv.com/ is the most recent Web Archive version available before the site went offline in Spring 2006, though sadly very few of the actual images were archived.

Think there was also some interesting stuff in the forums, sadly the threads aren't archived.

If anyone has any mocks from the forums too, that would help.

I'd love to see some more APFS mocks. In fact I'd like it to be brought back.

Was a great site - always like the "what if?" aspect of mocking and remember some great ideas answering the question what the likes of C4 and BBC3 would have looked like if they'd launched years before they actually did.

Every so often a thread like this one appears and I must admit when it does, I can't help but smile Smile So for those APFS fans out there, here's a couple of blasts from the past:

Thank you very much for your contributions. Having checked and saved everything in the archive so far, these 2 are some of the many missing pictures! Thank you very much, please give us some more if necessary.
