it's with deepest regret that i announce the closing of APFS

It's now time to move on to pastures new. Mark would like to thank all the visitors, especially the forum
regulars and gallery contributors, for their support over the last 5 years.

It's been fun!
The current site will remain online until 30th April 2006.

Why's the site closing down?

He wants to 'take the site out on a high'. Whilst I personally wish that phrase would be banned from the english language as its generally the reserve of failing popstars, I cant say I blame him really as it's a massive job maintaining a website fulltime (and you only have to look at my own thread to look at the sort of demands people place on the webmasters if you dont do it exactly how they want Wink). It'll be a shame to see it go that's for sure, as I don't think anyone could really replace it (though I see there's a bit of a 'Temporary TV Forum' situation in the forums at the moment, with everyone wanting to be the new replacement Razz). I wonder what to do with my Channel 3 North East gallery now... besides the obvious thing everyone would wanna do with C3NE!

It's www.apfs-tv.com. It's certainly a shame to see the site go after all these years, but what has to be done has to be done. I know he was having quite a difficult job funding it. I don't think it will die of totally, people are moving their mocks to their own site, 6-Net has found a new home (with me Laughing ) and I know I've also download a lot of the pages and content from APFS onto my PC (especially things such as the masterclass).
