When was this logo introduced? The Android app hasn't been updated yet, so I reckon fairly recently. They have also introduced the slogan 'What are you watching?'.

EDIT: It also appears that you can pay £1.99 per month to remove ads from the site and apps.

EDIT 2: Their Facebook profile picture was updated on Friday 28th April. They likely launched the new look then.

It was done in stages starting with social media on Friday afternoon and then the website into the weekend in time for 1st May. Apps still carry the old logo.

Looked at the channel availability page, the UKTV channels have joined Eurosport 1 and 2 in not being available during the free trial.

There are also some strange slated programmes, such as the ITV News London lunchtime bulletin, while they allow the other bulletins.

S4C and BBC Alba listed in the Lifestyle section, rather than "Entertainment", "Factual" or even "More..."

Meanwhile, GOD channel is in "Factual". Shocked

Using the Fire TV app, it's fiddly finding most of the non PSB's. Spike I found under More.

E Sports channel Ginx has been added to TV Player behind the Plus paywall. Also there's a student deal for PLUS with a £29.99 subscription for the year. This has to be verified via UNIDAYS.

Viceland has been added to the TVPlayer Plus package.

However, slating is prevalent on the channel, with the likes of programmes such as Archer and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia unable to be broadcast on TVPlayer.

EDIT (07/11/2017) - Anime programming, such as the likes of Kill La Kill, can be viewed on TVPlayer

EDIT (03/11/2017) - Slating is almost entirely absent from Viceland. Only Archer is unable to broadcast on Viceland through TVPlayer.

Slightly better than NOW TV which only offers VOD from Viceland.

What’s the reason UKTV channels aren’t on the Apple TV and presumably the app on other systems?

I guess because UKTV don't think it's commercial important enough to pay to develop for?

No, it's on TV Player on the mobile platform and on the website. So I don't think technical reasons are holding it back. It must be some contractual reason.

As I'm on another free trial (AMAZON10 for a £10 voucher if signing up), some channels on TV Player Plus are now in 720p HD.

These are:

Lifetime
History
Crime & Investigation
Ginx eSports TV
