Seem like Sky News have ditched their SIS branded trucks, used to see SIS 48-51 on 16e all the time but now it's just 'Ranger' labelled testcards which I believe are the smaller none branded 4x4 vans - More cost savings for Sky News?

They are starting to use SIS again, presumably just as a stop gap during General Election.

Are the SIS ones with the ID SN02 SN01 etc? Still on the same 11129, 11151, 11140, 11164 , 11175 etc?

SN02 and SN01 are Skys, they have SN04 as well, Not seen a 3. SIS 80 was on today and yeh same frequencies.

Here's SN02 in the wild. I like the fact that they've left the truck unbranded but then left a rather obvious clue as to who operates it. (You may need to zoom in to see it)

They're not the only ones to identify the uplink by its numberplate: I think I've seen this Arqiva truck identify itself as S300 on its colour bars:

(Also: the former SISlive OB truck commissioned by ESPN for their Premier League coverage had the registration E5 PNP, and Timeline TV's UHD1 has the registration T1 UHD. I'll stop now.)

Nice info! Thank you thegeek. Very Happy I beleive S300 SNG is Links Broadcast now?

Looks like it may be their unit 13 now: http://linksbroadcast.com/equipment

I took a picture of the Arqiva van because it was parked round the corner from my flat, in a spot where I'd previously seen a SIS van. Turns out that a freelance engineer lived there, and would bring them home before a dead early shift. (I know this because I've subsequently started working with him!)
