Hmm. Peacock will stream the two late night NBC talk shows at 8/9pm EST ahead of the network transmission at 11.35/12.35.
At least someone is thinking about how they can make signing up to the service more attractive by offering 'ahead of the network' firsts.

Could be a bit tight in terms of editing it for transmission. I wouldn't be shocked if we see CBS All Access do that with Colbert, Corden's a bit tight as that's shot at 5pm LA time.

The shows are not really edited. They’re live to tape. As far as I know Fallon and Seth don’t edit anything aside from profanity (which there rarely is) and if there are goofs they’re left in.

I’m more interested in what the affiliate base thinks about this? Would the Nielsen Portable People meters attribute the show, albeit at a different time as a view for said NBC affiliate. I don’t know how they work exactly if there’s an individual audio watermark for each show or if it’s network and the meter corresponds with a time. So say your watching Fallon at 9pm on a Wednesday would it register a view for Fallon or register Chicago Fire?

Edit: Looks like there are individual program and network audio watermarks.
Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a VO/SOT when you’re a PKG.
