Here's some letters in a circle, so I guess some letters in a circle with some more letters next to it would do for a logo, right?

There's been talk about this new logo over on Metropol since 2016. But until now, nothing's come of it.

Watch this, the logo will end up being:

A lot of people are quite negative about the new logo on Twitter, even Transdiffusion.

And I tried fixing it re-using the current BT font. It's still bland though.

UPDATE: Well I was wrong. Here's what the new BT Sport logo MAY look like.

Another example of a company replacing a not necessarily perfect but unique logo with something incredibly bland and forgettable.

Nope! Unless things have changed massively, anyway. (Fun fact: the current on-air branding was originally designed with the new logo in mind)

I wonder why they sat on it for three years? That’s longer than some Sky corporate logos lasted!

Trust me, won't be long.

Even PowerPoint is embarrassed by that logo. What on earth were they thinking? oh that's right they weren't.

Sure it's bland with just 'BT' in a circle, but there's still the surrounding elements left to see. Like the BBC rebrand in 1997, don't judge it by just the logo.
