Hello,

I'm looking at Smart TV's specifically with NOW tv built in so that means LG. I have seen several videos on youtube which pertain to show XBMC being added to an LG Smart TV:

I'd like to ask a few questions.

Firstly has anyone actually tried this?
Does it work?
If it does work, which smart tv is best?

Many thanks in advance

Why not buy an Apple TV and use that for NowTV? Limiting yourself on TV options just because of content seems silly when Apple TV is less than £100? Always go by picture/sound quality first.

I love the current Samsung slim smart tv line up.

If you're that eager to have Now TV, then I'd personally get a Now TV box for a tenner and then get a decent TV - rather than restricting your choices down to units which have a particular app.

Many thanks to both of you. I was asking on behalf of a family member who was looking for something simpler but I'll suggest a separates route. Thanks again. Very Happy

Chromecast and ROKU also do NOW TV with the benefit on ROKU of having other channels available.
