I have Alexa on my Fire TV now. Asked for a weather forecast which was in Fahrenheit. If anyone knows how to change the settings to celsius?

I think for Echos and Dots it is an option in the Alexa app that you run in parallel on iOS/Android devices?

Strangely when I went into the settings, it was already turned on. But the weather forecast works fine now.

There is a new Al Jazeera English app for the Fire TV which includes a live stream.

Wonders if these TV's will have adb that allows slideloading apps.


AFTV News has reported that sideloading Android apps will be allowed on the tv sets.

Amazon are to launch their own IPTV service in the UK and Germany at additional cost to Prime members.

The US already has Amazon Channels with content from HBO, Starz, Showtime and other content providers.
