Off Air Broadcast Feeds

Is there a way to access Off Air Feeds from UK Live Shows? (June 2018)

I'd say a very niche market.

Doing the downlinking, yes, but how many are then doing dodgy web streams of them, possibly for a profit? I'm not saying it's a huge problem, but the fact that higher-value content is being protected by more complicated encryption shows that's it's one that's being taken seriously.

Yeah it gets harder although they are some people out there with drm Keys and access to EBUs finest content, but I think it’s going off topic, for the OP news feeds are still available no fancy gear however it is important the tuner supports 16apsk, without it you will not receive all the bbc/sky feeds, so that’s what I would try, there is not much else out there unless you work for them.

I'd be difficult to know what feeds would be available, where they would be and what encryption they would use, so would web streams be possible, certainly you couldn't advertise them in advance?
I've never looked for them, so I've no idea what they do claim to show.

http://www.satelliweb.com/?section=livef&langue=en is the site the aforementioned Stanley Cassidy posts many of the feeds he finds on. However to find them its just a case of using a receiver or DVB-S2 card in a PC with a blind-scan option.

The only web streams i have seen are derived from someones STB.

But surely the key point for an advertised webstream is that you'd have to know where Footy Team A v Footy Team B's match is going to be - satellite, frequency etc.
Although you can probably guess that Sky or BT are likely to be on certain satellites, there is no guarantee.
Plus the fibres that have gone in have reduced the number of feeds to be found.
You don't have long to find the required feed - if it exists.

That would be the obvious easy way to guarantee it was there, until your box is identified of course!

Don’t seem to put people off in the Far East I see numbers flashing on the screen all the time.

It’s well dodgy not only do you have to find the feed it may well be encrypted plus feeds are weaker then regular channels, with these issues there is no or very little chance.

Maybe if you generate enough profit you can get hold of enough boxes?
I won't be going on Dragon's Den with this suggestion!

Wasn't Eurovision's world feed sent out "in the clear" until fairly recently? Certainly there's footage of the "fake voting" from 2013's Jury Final on YouTube, possibly one from the family show too, featuring a less than flattering looking Petra Mede.

I think since 2016 Sad it was for me a great way to test HD 4:2:2 content as the bitrate was always 40-50mbps
