Awww. That has to be one of my favourite news designs. Sad to see it go, but I'm really excited to see what they come up with next.
International News Presentation: Past and Present
Perhaps the first relaunch we won't be able to cover here on TV Forum...
VRT's Het Journaal in Belgium is relaunching on Monday, April 5th. Het Journaal has had some brilliant looks over the years, including it's 2008 look which is still one of my favourites.
Here's the current look, which debuted in 2018. This was a slight tweak to the 2016 look...

And here's a report on the new look, from Friday. They're spending just over a week in a temporary set, so looks like the Furio cameras will remain.

I've been saying it would be a good idea to build studios and production offices for Radio 2 where the now vacant Studio B is and vacate Wogan House.
New BBC One North
It also says they'll reduce their property estate in London. Perhaps that means the non-TVC White City buildings or maybe the separate buildings around NBH. Do they still have other buildings in London (other than Maida Vale/Stratford)? Elstree I suppose.

The Chase | Beat the Chasers
Shame, especially given they're apparently only paid per episode they record.

Judge Rinder was actually trending on Twitter when the briefing room was unveiled
Downing Street Briefing Room
I thought this was a revamped set for Judge Rinder's courtroom when I first saw it.

EastEnders
I'm just confused as to why they're making set tweaks now when a new one is imminent.

YouTube Gold
Not sure if this has been posted here before, but a fascinating watch nonetheless. The dedication of NBC affiliate WRC-TV's new colour studios by President Eisenhower in 1958; footage thought to be the oldest surviving colour videotape recording in the world.

Downing Street Briefing Room
I wonder how much the Covid Briefing Room cost - what is that room used for normally?

Mash Report has already been poached by someone (before the news today) and it’s not C4.
Really? So does that mean that it wasn't actually axed by the BBC, just poached. Or did the BBC get rid of it and someone else get in quick?
I'm guessing they will have decided a while ago, and it's only just becoming public.
Eggheads moving to C5
I wonder how long it'll take Channel 4 to pick up The Mash Report?
