Create : The old lady making bread that I predicted

(You could combine the ITV Set with the CBS Titles and give the newsreader goblin ears. Add the additional desks from Sky and we'd have Star Trek!)
CBS Evening News w/ Katie Couric
Anyone else think that the music sounds like something out of Star Trek?(You could combine the ITV Set with the CBS Titles and give the newsreader goblin ears. Add the additional desks from Sky and we'd have Star Trek!)

Hope they don't go for the BBC style moving 3D angle...
RTÉ News
RTE will probably get new weather graphics with the new RTE One idents and graphics. The current ones were only introduced in 2005 when RTE went to widescreen though, not with the 2003 revamp. After that they used the old ones (the 4:3 ones) with one adjustment : the "Sea" had a wavy effect rather than just plain blue.Hope they don't go for the BBC style moving 3D angle...

The Blue logo from the top left hand corner of the screen now appears floating in the bottom left. Beneath it is a box, with the name of the feature written in it (eg. Europeans, Le Mag, Sport, Meteo, etc). The clocks (Times in NY, Brussels and Moscow) float above the EuroNews logo. The music hasn't changed, and most of the graphics are the same. The astons now have a transparent blue background.
New(ish) EuroNews Graphics
Just noticed today that the qrapics on EuroNews have changed. The Blue logo from the top left hand corner of the screen now appears floating in the bottom left. The footage I was talking about was filmed in a house in Greystones by Cian de Buitléar from RTE - His father Éamon does all those nature shows on TG4.
Anyway, we all know RTE monitor threads before their relaunches and new shows - a guy on boards.ie was talking about his idea for a reality show and suddenly it became a segment on Seoige and O'Shea. I bet they saw my posts re Red Bee and thought "We're screwed". Just wait til November 3.
(Also I was told late October by the team that made the footage - it's hard to miss a film crew ging into a neighbour's house while they're away. Either way I was out by 3 days)

Well we've only seen images of 5 out of 12 idents, all except 2 of them fairly blurry. Also the "So Much To Offer" and "Part Of Life" films are just glorified ads for RTE that don't reflect anything. The footage I was talking about was filmed in a house in Greystones by Cian de Buitléar from RTE - His father Éamon does all those nature shows on TG4.
