MTV censors Pogues song

I find it daft when they show outtakes of somebody swearing on live tv they bleep out the swear word, what's the point. if somebody said "a##e hole" live on this morning everybody watching will have heard it anyway so why censor it on a late night out take show.

The worse ones are those who complain at the language in Big Brother, what do you expect from a group of ordinary people being filmed 24/7 for 10 weeks, 1950's BBC english?

Doctor Who

Having watched dr who from more or less the beginning I've always wondered why we assume the first dr we saw (william hartnell) hadn't regenerated yet.

Do time lords live for 60 odd years before regenerating into gradually younger bodies until they reach around 40 years old which if you consider the ages of the actors when they played him seems to be the case.

Coronation Street

I think the panto lacked that live feeling as well, and an audience. Also annoying was the behind the scenes only on itv2, I hate that, people who cannot afford satelite tv would like to see the itv2 coronation street behind the scenes specials as well, it's a financial bias only showing specials to people who can afford to go and by satelites, we all pay their wages by watching the programme and the ads in between. BBC show their bbc 3 and 4 programmes on BBCs 1 and 2 for people who cannot get those channels so why can't itv

moan over.

an interesting note who was absent from the panto, the same people who are absent from the children in need specials, namely the bigger stars.

Did anyone else spot Tom Bakers scarf in the costume room.
If you look behind the doctor when he is looking the mirror, you can clearly see the scarf & costume in the background
.

I thought peter davidson's dr unraveled it after he regenerated and got lost in the tardis

any other bits of the past dr's costumes in there.?

Doctor Who

I think I'm going to like david tennants dr as he seems to have a good sense of whit about him, like his complaint at never being ginger, for once a positive comment about gingers on tv, now I'm thinking of ginger actors who'd make a good dr who.

anyway good episode, might convince my step dad to watch as he's miffed that christopher eckleston left.

Coronation Street

rather a quite christmas episode for a change, the whole programme has been a bit quite all year to be honest, maybe they blew their 2005 budget on blowing up dev's shops.

nice scene with the duckworths and vera moaning it was her worse christmas ever, what a short memory she has. Think back 12 years to 1993, I don't think you can get much worse that your son selling your grand son on christmas day.

Thanks Stewart,

now it's too big for me to load (2184x1177 pixels), how do I reduce the pixels to the allowable width without me having to rescan the photo? even if i crop the photo to just show the building it's too big (1151x117 pixels)

sorry to be a pain, I'm not that computer savvy

Ps some keeping up appearance sites state that some town scenes were filmed in leamington spa, can anybody confirm this or has somebody not checked their info

Coronation Street

with regard to ernest's killer returning to the street I hope they cast an actor who was actually old enough to be robbing warehouses 28 years ago, he would have to be at least 46 years old (18 years old when he did it)

anyway I thought ernest was accidentally shot when mike came into the room and hit the gunman with the door, he then accidentally fired the gun (I was only 8 when this episode was transmitted so my memory may be a bit foggy)

anybody know how old the robbers were in the 1978 episode?
