Odd question, but did anyone else think they spotted Kris Murrin of 'Honey We're Killing The Kids' and 'The Woman Who Stops Traffic' as an extra in the Rovers on Monday's first episode?

Sunday Life/"Studios" with windows

looks a lot smarter than GMTVs 15 year old set with the same fake photo back drop.

I like these sets with live views out of windows but it's nothing new as Pebble Mill did it back in the 70s and 80s as did Granada reports on occasion.

EastEnders

years ago on Corrie Bill Roache was angry when they wrote out Peter and Susan after Val died as he saw it as an opportunity to show a single parent bringing up his kids (back in the 60's when it wasn't so common)

by axing Honey they are missing the opportunity to show a family bringing up a child with a learning disability, some thing no soap has dared to tackle all the way into adulthood.

probably a new ident for 'Ood oo you think you are'
Laughing Rolling Eyes

nice episode with a good ending, although how a species could evolves with its brain in its hand is a bit perplexing Confused
