Very good!

However, there isn't anywhere for studio guests with that small news desk as well.

The ticker at the top of the screen is an interesting idea, I'm not sure whether it would work on screen though. I think the cursor flashing would look a bit tacky, TBH. I assume the box above this with the Sky News logo would have a clip of the story being covered. Also, IMO, the background could distract from the clip. Hope this helps!

ITV's regional announcements

They seem to crop up occasionally on ITV London but not regularly.

Is the ident just an example image? Would the picture actually be credits? Or would this be used as an ident?

I quite like the yellow background as more cheerful than a black one. However, I agree that there needs to be a logo, especially if the answer to either of my first two questions is 'yes'.

What. A. Joke. Ray should've gone tonight - although at least Leona is still in.

Hopefully being up against Ray will make it easier for Leona to win - but remember Pop Idol, the outcome to these shows isn't always as obvious as it was last year. Having said that, I've definately not dreaming of a Swingin' Christmas!

Changes at CBBC

Just a quick question: does CBBC1 only have one presenter now?

Sport broadcasters always seem to ignore the safe areas at the top and bottom of the screen anyway e.g. you get something resembling UUL instead of BBC at the top of the screen during a football match.
