Doctor Who - Discussions on Season 5 onwards
Noticed the reference to Adeola being Martha's cousin to try to explain the similarity!

Credits
Credits scroll up the screen because you read from the top of the text to the bottom. If credit scrolled down, they'd be harder to read and your eye would get pulled down with them, meaning you might miss some of them. Kind of the same reason why English tickers go from right to left while Arabic ones go from left to right. That's why I think it would be unlikely for credits to scroll downwards.

BBC London
Much better than the current bright, in your face red and white straps, and more inkeeping with their opening titles.

ITV 1 Logo
Using lowercase letters can be more modern, but could look like a bad attempt at emulating 'txt spk'. I think that the ITV logo is in between, but possibly edging towards the latter.

Also, do the names mean TV 1 and TV 2?
If Wales Ever became Independent...
I'm not really sure about the colours you've used. Red and green might clash and the yellow might not show up that well on a light background.Also, do the names mean TV 1 and TV 2?

The problem with ITV using a pretty standard logo is the lack of flexibility - from this thread (I'm not old enough to remember it onscreen) the IT* logo seemed to be too infexible to work well for all the regions. The block logo's weakness was the limited colour scheme - OK for 2 channels, but not for much more. With the current logo, there's only so many bright colours you can use, as the Beeb found out with its boxes.
ITV 1 Logo
The current set of logos are quite good IMO, but would be better if ITV used them properly - why doesn't ITV Productions and ITV DVD get a bar on the end? I also think the +1 logos would look better if the +1 was inside the bar, rather than stuck on the end.The problem with ITV using a pretty standard logo is the lack of flexibility - from this thread (I'm not old enough to remember it onscreen) the IT* logo seemed to be too infexible to work well for all the regions. Did Bethany have her first proper line tonight?
Coronation Street
The Mortons must've been quick snapping up No. 6 - so quick it was never even advertised as up for sale (I think)!Did Bethany have her first proper line tonight?

Liz McCarlen (sp?): Ordinary, and sounded a bit like 'Son of a Preacherman' in parts, IMO;
Brian Harvey: Too boring;
Big Brovaz: Though it was OK and can see them coming in the top 2, but we tried a rap last year;
Cyndi: Good ballard, but don't think its the kinda thing the great British public will go for;
Scooch: More cheese than a Fromagerie. Didn't like it;
Hawkins & Brown: Not sure about, I might be a 'grower'.
Eurovision 2007 - Helsinki
Can't see any of them coming in the top 20, due to good ol' politics, but here's what I thought of the songs:Liz McCarlen (sp?): Ordinary, and sounded a bit like 'Son of a Preacherman' in parts, IMO;
