The songs were really catchy as well, and I thought the Guy who played Satan/Warm-up Guy was especially good, and David Sould was superb as Jerry. I will email the BBC and congratulate them on sticking by the show and airing it.

Cable TV mocks

Hi,
Following on from the thread I have my own ideas about a merged ntl & TW. Let me know if I should continue with the rest of the package.
I will point out this is only my 2nd ever mock, I dont usualy have time to put the effort in to making it look good - and I also dont think I am that good at them but like to have a go when I can. I am fully aware that alot of this is just text.

Will take any advice offered and suggestions would be greatfully receved!

This is the new logo - I have reserected the cabletel name as I think it would be a good name for the new company.

Once the box has updated a splash screen appears for 10-15 seconds.
I know it says televest - how I managed that I dont know! Embarassed I think Televest are eather a german cable comapny or they sell string underwear Smile.

This is the first menu - the EPG - which would have a full transponder for the listings so it is quick and has a 14 day EPG

I Loved the Norwich Union one with the woman from liverpool - Talking about getting old - Thoguht was very well written and the acting was very good.

the HP Digital Camera ad - where the phots are moved and placed in live action forming the action etc - a simple idea very well done.

the citroen C5 Ad with the Transformer car - Look cool - why cant the real transformers move like that!

Christmas Adverts

I love the Asda Christmas Ad, are they trying to make Julie walters a regular - to get on tescos nerves? Smile
That would be intresting to see!

Also the Woolworths ads are better than I thought - The characters are a bit strange.

slightly off topic - any one else notice alot of introspective or psychological ads about- where there is another character representing the psyche or emotions of the main character.

I think the U should be in Yellow with the tv in another colour- looks kinda strange... UT V

On another note does anyone think they will bring back the old ident music (not sure what its called) - it was such an identifable tune.

To answer a point - Never negoiate with terroists - they will alwyas then use the same taticts to get more femands, and it will also open the floodgates for other groups to do the same.
