A few months back I got warned by the mods and given restrictions on being able to post for several days for "repeatedly misgendering" a user. If it was intentional and malicious I'd understand it, but when it's someone on an internet forum, with a username which doesn't make their gender clear, and they didn't never tried to tell me otherwise(or I missed it if they did), how am I supposed to know? There's some people on the forum who I think intentionally set out to be offended and sit there virtually with their fingers hovering over the report button. Of course the **** moderation is just at fault, being warned for doing something the user never told me was wrong.
That same user this morning just accused me of being "vile" and my "mask slipping" for making what was an obvious light hearted comment. It's clear said member is just part of the permanently outraged group. Thankfully the mods seem to have seen sensible for once and deleted that post.
It's somewhat Double-standards when Stolengoodplacejanet (probably one of the most 'offended" easily on DS) continues to post her bait-ey, rude, condescending posts on DS, many of which contravene the so called rules - without any apparent punishment.

[Mod edit: don't think chunk of DS posts needs to be directly on this site]
Excuse me but doesn't the above come across as rude, shouty and against the rules for telling someone they are going on ignore?
Because the said user has won some 'victories" on DS it has emboldened them to become somewhat more rude, with the Mods as usual doing jack.
I've been warning in the past for even casually mentioning the ignore feature.
Not to mention stirring up the pot in the Classic Corrie thread last week, resulting in two temp bans and what appears to be three permanent ones.
However SERIOUSLY! WTF is going on? how come this "member" continues to get away with such postings?
Anyone else would be warned or banned for such postings.
