Apart from the St Albans OB which was all a bit flat, it flowed well.
Scarlett isn't great at all. She is actually getting worse.
Loved the George Ezra sequences at each end of the show. Really worked well

Agreed.
In fact I would suggest that it isn't even journalism!

Articles based around a few posts on twitter are such lazy journalism.

BBC Breakfast
That might be the current Winter Olympics studio (aka meeting room) right at the end of the report?

TVAM: would have been 35th birthday today.
I'm sure he presented This Morning with Anna Soubry (ex Central East co-host, now MP) who was already on a slot on the sure. But sure in Richard and Judy times before Fern.

As a matter of interest where does one find the Meet The Team pages for each region?

I liked his style, though more suited to BBC perhaps then. Hence the Radio 4 background I guess.
Always interesting that they took the ITV graphics but kept their own theme tune. Which is one of the best I've heard.

They were, but not at the same time. Anne was at ITV in the 80's, and Dom was at TSW until 1992, when he moved to Nottingham
Anne Davies not start at Central east? then jumped to GMTV, reading the and doing the newshour etc before leaving in 99?
When she went to GMTV she was presenting Fri-Sun wth Eamonn Holmes.
Longest serving Regional Presenting Duo
Dominic Heale and Anne Davies have presented BBC East Midlands Today for quite some time, since September 2002 I believe? So that's over 15 years now. And weren't they at ITV Central before that?

No. it is simply not necessary and just a childish post.
Gogglebox - Leon Sadly Dies
Is it too soon to set up a sweepstake for the next Goggleboxer to snuff it sadly? My money's on that pair of old biddies who like talking about willies.

A fair bit of Scunny can't get Belmont and so take Emley!
The Yorkshire and Lincolnshire Thread
Maybe they're nicking stories because they were too busy editing their already naff titles to put in some even naffer looking Christmas shots.
Speaking of using things from outside their patch, the Emley programme had its weather picture from Scunthorpe tonight - not even Belmont used that one.

No. humberside airport is in the region. Would say the next nearest would be Robin Hood then Leeds Bradford.
I can't get as excited as Radiolistener about this, but I do think the EMA feature was pushing it somewhat.
Both Humberside and Robin Hood have a very limited selection of airlines and destinations available. East Midlands is 40 minutes closer by car from Lincoln than Leeds Bradford is.
It's an hour's drive from Lincoln, so easy commutable and thus potentially an important local employer for people in the patch too.
Therefore I would suggest that news about EMA fits the criteria of news of interest to people in the EY&L patch they wouldn't make it to the national bulletins.
To me it seems as if they realise that the boundaries of their transmission area are dictated by Physics rather than what makes editorial sense and are trying to put out a programme that is useful rather than pretending that anywhere without line of sight to Belmont doesn't exist.
I understand the geography, living in Lincoln as I do and using EMA a couple of times a year. So yes it is more relevant to hear about that to me than say LBA. Could say the other way around for someone living in, say, Driffield.
Also I understand the point of editorial decisions, and get what you are saying. Yes a major employer regionally, but I would suggest that most in Lincolnshire who work there would be East Midlands Today watchers in the Grantham area.
Anyway, moving on - I wonder what colour tie Peter will be wearing tonight? 😁

All that said, I would prefer to keep a full LN EY&L than anything else.

Is East Midlands Airport not the nearest airport to the region? Hardly a fair comparison.
