Same 1 hour later, just black for 2 mins, 30secs of an ad and black, then 10 secs of an ad.
Are you sure? The adverts at 7:48 seemed to play out fine here in Meridian South. If the 7:48 problem only happened in some regions then that could explain why you saw 2:30 seconds of black and they didn't just go back to the live programme like they did at 6:51. No apology at that point either.

Watched ITV London on GMTV for a change at 08.09 I saw it almost opted out but cut the Music, if anyone had the same in their Regions? (It was the same for my original ITV (Calendar) But It was more interesting to do with London Presented by Faye Barker than my usual Yorkshire News with Gaynor Barnes.
