Psychoville How Brilliant

I think this programme is brilliant - great line-up of actors and quirky-original. However, one thing about it really gets my goat - the place names! Salford and Manchester are two distinct cities; Salford is not IN Manchester, nor is Bristol in the now-defunct administrative county of Avon which was abolished in 1996!

BBC One

What's also annoying about the new lawn ident is the inconsistency of the opening sequence. First of all we see a woman with a lawnmower and a woman on a tractor, but the birds-eye-view shot shows two women with lawnmowers. That's because the original didn't zoom out from the shot of the woman on the tractor! They haven't thought these through very well... The long versions with the logo hanging around and unrelated to the action just look stupid.

BBC Two Rebrand and Onwards

I don't like the BBC logo just being stuck on. It seems a bit odd when the other channel names are spelled out (as has been said already). I think the BBC should aim to have consistency across their channels, but that doesn't mean the logos need to be constrained to ugly boxes. Personally, I think it would be good if BBC TWO used a logo like BBC one's. Yes, I did this on paint so it's rough-looking, and I borrowed the image above, don't kill me - it's just to give the idea of what I think it ought to be like:

Bonekickers

That programme just made me angry. Obviously written by someone with a grudge against Christians and not much idea about what Christianity is... Anyway, I noticed the news with the old News 24 look - that was about the only interesting thing in the entire programme. Remember, "use your archaeological imagination". Puh.

Election night

Oh my goodness - those graphics, ticker etc are much nicer than the new BBC News ones. The ticker looks a lot better as a bar rather than big chunk at the bottom of the screen. Shame these aren't part of the new look.
