At the top of the 11pm hour last night, there was a really loud sound of glass smashing somewhere in the newsroom (as a story about the riots was being read, appropriately enough). No idea what it was, but it sounded like more than someone just dropping a glass of water and there was a small amount of background noise after the report, sounding like it was being swept up.
I think Jayne Secker was presenting, she just about managed to keep a straight face.

That's a great use of the software; it's a brilliant package for sorting through tweets and great for something like this.
I reckon those Twitter columns will be moving pretty fast tonight!
