Middlesbrough game on Sky One tonight

The first football I can remember on Sky One (might have been Sky Channel at the time) was the old Zenith Data Systems cup.

Think MIddlesbrough might have won it thst year.

It was presented by Paul Dempsey who had to wear an awful Blazer with the SKY logo on the chest pocket!!!

Thats my memory anyway, hope its correct cause I'd be very saddened if I'd dream't it....

BBC Big Screen

I gather that the only current permanent BBC Big Screens are in Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Southampton.

Very suprised that there isn't one in London yet.

I don't know about the rest of the BBC Big screens, but the one in Exchange Square in Manchester was showing the Channel 4 Ashes coverage yesterday.

An Audience With...

To answer the original question, Yes, the original 'An Audience with...' were made by LWT at the London Studio's (I think called The South Bank Studio's at the time)

LWT was taken aquired by Granada many years ago and I guess strictly speaking no longer exists.

ITV3 testing

Basically ITV 3 will definately launch on Freeview and Cable on Nov 1st.

There are rumours that it is going to launch in Satellite too because a promo has appeared on freq mentioned at the beginning of this thread. This despite the fact that Sky have made it clear that is no room for the channel on the EPG.

Hope this makes everything clearer.
