They're not bad at all! The split screen is a little crowded, maybe, and isn't the endcap just the existing one with "five" blown up? Still, original .
You're mocks won't be as good as others' if you don't use the same level of software.
I worked that one out for myself
Quote:
Adobe's Photo Shop is good, as is Photo Impact 8 from Ulead.
I have used Photoshop before and I can use it in Uni if I want to, but I don't have the money to get a copy of it for myself - I'm a student, remember.
I did actually once make a decent mock in PhotoShop for college work but I don't have a copy of it anywhere. I'll try getting in contact with someone at my college to see if they can send me a copy of it.
And what is wrong with things 'wizzing around' on screen? It gives a sense of urgency to the opening titles.
But do you need a sense of urgency on a regional news programme? The storeis covered are hardly likely to be ongoing or "breaking" - the graphics would suit CNN better.
The place names is a badmove. M D R's right - it looks like a BBC programme where the coverage areas are more defined than ITV regions. Also, there's always going to be the place they forgot about.
