Does anyone know what Viv Creegor is upto these days?

I read somewhere that she was going to try and start an acting career.

She has made one movie, 'Stormbreaker', where she played a news reporter. Released last July.

Just found the link:-

Sky keep picking up these series after they're past their best really, similarly with Lost.

I think if you spoke to some of the million plus viewers who've been watching season three of Lost on Sky, you will find the majority will say that it's the best yet.

Have all the big name presenters now come home, no longer able to extend their paid holiday any longer, or are some still out there?

Anna Botting isn't in Portugal anymore.

I believe it's only Ian Woods and Amanda Walker now. Woods said in his article he would be home for the weekend.

I think the absolute earliest it might be pulled, or at least rescheduled, would be the end of June when it takes it's break for Wimbledon.

However, I think the most likely scenario is they'll air it till Christmas and then ditch it - I think the BBC would be being more than fair keeping it on air till then.

I believe the BBC have paid for the episodes up to June 2008. Five have bought after June.

So if the BBC 'ditch it' after Christmas, no one is going to see the six months worth of episodes the BBC has paid for.

I can't see the BBC not showing the episodes they've paid for. This is licence payers' money after all. There would be an uproar. They are public service broadcasters after all.

I think you're wrong.

I don't think they could reasonably pull it. However, as has been previously suggested, they could move it off BBC One some time before the contract runs out - most probably to BBC Three.

Not good propaganda for the Beeb though. Surely, going to Five from BBC1 and losing viewers would be better than going from BBC3 and gaining viewers on 5.

Well done to Five for winning the contract. I think its the end though, look how Five killed off Home and Away.

Home & Away doesn't do that badly on five. Using your analogy surely the BBC has killed neighbours. Didn't it used to get 12-15 million viewers in the old days!!

The media are turning into vigilanties now, taking great pride in telling us they've got certain people arrested because they didn't like the look of them!

According to The Telegraph it was a Portuguese citizen who first reported Mr Murat to the police, three days after Madeleine went missing.

It was a day later that the journos reported him.

I didn't realise that Katharine Witty is now working for Mohamed Fayed.

I remember Michael Cole (former BBC Reporter and Newsreader) also went to work for Fayed.

Laurie Mayer was his spokesman before Cole.

Laurie Mayer was after Michael cole. Mayer also joined Fayad directly from Sky News.
