BBC News: Presenters & Rotas
I saw Tanya Beckett too - I notice that her 10 mins are always packed with business news, and in this case, there weren't even headlines - and unlike most of them she actually spends a good minute or so actually going through the markets.

BBC News Channel: Presentation
New NC countdown at the 5pm TOTH. It used the track currently used on most World countdowns. Big 'NEWS' text in the BBC News logo!

Who's on the NC Sport tonight? Damien something? It seems as if the late NC weekday shift isn't popular with the regular sports team! It lasts a good 9 hours!

As you can see in this tweeted photo (http://yfrog.com/gzm9fhpij), N8 gets amber-orange non lighting for Newsday, darker than what I thought - It's a shame we get stuck with 2 head shots though. A wide shot would be nice now-and-again!

Sky News: Presentation Discussion
The Press Preview is always good on a Monday - Maguire and Pierce always make the time fly by. They know their stuff, but there's always a good bit of banter. I quite like Samantha Simmonds on the late shift too!

I'm not too keen on the new European mornings sequence though - there's no need for the 'Countdown' revamp! I don't think Owen and Francine in particular gel well, watching it the other day, they kept tripping up each other's lines, leaving awkward pauses and I'd prefer 3 hours of Linzie Janis any day!
Bloomberg Television
Although, I'm no real business person, I must say Bloomberg's really grown on me, they have a strong set of programmes and I really like Last Word. Andrea Catherwood is an excellent presenter and this show suits her!I'm not too keen on the new European mornings sequence though - there's no need for the 'Countdown' revamp! Sport Today was live. The addition of a new sport shift means that Jonathan (oops) Komla, Naga and Martine no longer have to read the sport just before 0530. The overnight sports presenter stays for that hour, and I'm assuming for the 0600 hour too. Amelia Harris was on today shortly before 0530.

Yep, overall not bad but louzy graphics reminiscent of a packet of Strepsils being thrown around. Nice to see a real Asia-Pacific headed news schedule, with a good set of top stories. Shame about losing that nice view of Singapore for a tight close-up of a frosted glass panel. Is Sharanjit Leyl gone now? I thought she'd be good at this programme! Also, could we possibly have seen Babita at the desk and using the full set including the Barco? The Impact Asia-esque shot seems a bit too much.

Largely, the Asia-Pacific region is 6-8 hours ahead of the UK so there's no major "difference" in days.

Friday will be BBC News (as present) rather than Newsday won't it?
Friday (i.e. the shift after Chris Eakin) will be Newsday, Saturday (i.e. the shift after Tim Willcox) will be BBC News (considering Friday 'overnights' are actually Saturdays).
