Since Taskmaster is being discussed here, take this tweet with a pinch of salt.

Well they've annouced the line-up today, so I'm guessing it was that.

Coronavirus - Impact on live/recorded shows

Jonwo posted:
The CW has always picked up imports to fill their slate and they can somewhat get away with it being a smaller network whereas you're very unlikely to see imports on CBS, NBC etc unless they're from Canada.

The only one think sticks in my head is Merlin which airs on NBC for its first series. Didn't do very well in the ratings so moved to Syfy for its second series.

Soap Opera Repeats Channel

At the least, maybe they could release them on a streaming service, with a lot less of the cost or viewership issues with repeating them on TV.

Amazon Prime has the first two seasons of Home & Away.

Channel 4

Does anyone else seem to be having issues with Audio Description on Channel 4 (SD) on Freesat? It seems to be on by default.

Global Radio axes all regional/local breakfast shows

Bauer Media has recently bought up Lincs FM Group, Celador Radio and Wireless’ local radio division, this adds about 25 radio licences to the ones they already have. I guess over time they move in a similar direction to Global with condensing their brands.

Classic Emmerdale

To be fair though, most branded village shops tend to be part of the smaller convenience chains such as Costcutter, Londis, Nisa, etc..

Tesco owns OneStop which seem to be quite common in small villages around me.
