BBC World News: Presentation

Incredible coverage of the anniversary of the Leahman Bros collapse on Mishal Husain's WNT.
Mishal from Singapore (with an awesome live shot of the skyline behind her) and other BBC anchors in NY and London. If the anchors had this much energy all the time the channel would brilliant.

The anchor (Brian Naylor) mentioned above has just been confirmed dead by Sky News Australia and ABC.

Here is an update about the newsreader's status from earlier this evening.

I think the update flipper only comes up when it's not a live news program.

The white one should be up the whole time during the live bulletins IMO.

I rather like it but they need to work on the LIVE bit and they really need to leave the flipper on all the time and not when the anchor is reading the intro.

BBC World News: Presentation

I noticed the same thing, I have a widescreen TV so it's fine on my tv but I wonder how it looks on some older tube tvs that are not flatscreen...
The smaller ticker looks rather strange.
