I sincerely hope they don't make Millbank look anything like the other two studios. Yes, it stands out like a sore thumb since the old era of Sky was sadly ditched, but it is the only decent-looking news studio they have left.

If they're to be broadcasting what is arguably their flagship programme from Milbank, you'd hope they'd give the set a proper update to bring it in line with the channel's current look.

Just emphasises how perfect the old-style Sky studio was/is for big moments in politics (amongst other things).

Really enjoying the coverage from millbank, the desk is really nice along with Westminster on the telly and the live gallery

I seem to remember Nolan and McGuinness presenting on a summer Friday years ago (I think).
I'm assuming Barrowman and Holden are presenting the final show before the summer series? I thought Phillip and Holly usually presented that one?
This Morning
Coleen Nolan and Paddy McGuinness next Friday. And John Barrowman and Amanda Holden the following Friday.

Normally, Eamonn & Ruth take two weeks' off prior to the summer series, so I'd imagine we'll see a different pairing next Friday.

Eamonn & Rylan again tomorrow. As someone else suggested, I doubt Ruth will return until the start of the summer series.Normally, Eamonn & Ruth take two weeks' off prior to the summer series, so I'd imagine we'll see a different pairing next Friday.

I never thought I'd have anything good to say about this studio, but I completely agree. Personally, I think they should move the 21:00-00:00 shift into studio 6 permanently and return Sunrise to the glass box.

However at 10pm the different lighting, and the background is pretty nice, the darker blues and the lack terribly unrealistic looking VR elements used on Sunrise makes that studio look better than I've seen before.

The camera movement into NAT was brilliant; all it needed was the voice of God!

News at 10 coming from Studio 6 this evening (with some wonderful camera pans by today's standard) - I've always thought the late shift would be better in this studio. Interesting to see how the Press Preview will work.

Yeah, I prefered the way the program started too, the darker background was far better for this time of the evening than the bright fest that we have at the moment behind Adam.
The studio, despite being very small in the flesh, is vastly better for a night like tonight, again having the analysis of Michael Thrasher just around the corner and everyone altogether behind Adam feels much better for a lively election night for a news channel.
Not sure who decided to put those bars up.
It wouldn't seem right having election coverage from anywhere but the old-style studio.

It's a shame they've added the light blue bars behind Adam now...the brightness is particularly harsh on the eyes at this time of night! Glad they're using this studio for yet another election though - it just goes to show neither studios in Sky Central carry the same weight as the old studio.

Sophy Ridge is presenting SNT, so I'm not sure why Mark was in Millbank.

Mark could be covering Sky News Tonight as well, but they've previously done that from the glassbox.

Looks like tonight's Press Preview will be coming from the Westminster studio, as opposed to the glass box. It'll be nice to see this programme presented in the old-style Sky studio for a change.

Isabel Webster welcomed viewers to 'Sky News Today' on Friday as well.
Sky News | General Discussion
Adam Boulton just welcomed viewers of the 11am TOTH to 'Sky News Today'. First time it's been referred to as that on air in recent years?
Sky EPG lists it simply as Sky News, however I thought it had been rebranded as 'Lunchtime Live' when Ian King Live moved to 1:30?
If they don't want it to be a simple Sky News block they really need to settle on a title and actually call it that on air.
EDIT: Seems to be a new graphic in use for the block as well.
