Is that screen used for the regional opt on GMB? I’ve not watched in a while as I’ve not had to go out to work last time I watched it was just the stv news desk.

I think so, appart from saturday morning when its also 11am and 12pm,

It’s surprising it doesn’t have more downtime for regular maintenance especially for a studio that’s on air 23 hours a day, that’s pretty impressive.

Good Morning Britain

The first half hour of GMB is pretty good, it’s the complete opposite of the rest of the show. It has the news, the weather and a quick look at some of the front pages which is what I tune in for before leaving in the mornings(although I’ve not been doing that much recently)

Not a huge fan of the blocks on the screen they just seem a bit random and don’t really fit.

Reporting Scotland Refresh

I still think that Reporting Scotland should have an opening wide after the titles before mixing through and into the presenter. Going from titles straight to first story seems rushed. I think a wee breather would be nice.

I agree, since they’ve gotten rid of the shot of pacific quay they could’ve brought back the studio shot.

In my opinion studio E always looks better than studio C although the daytime London backdrop in C is a strong contender. Really not a fan of the other two backdrops used in studio C just now.

Regarding dateline London, this is the second time there’s been a different presenter hosting than who’s on the news channel. Last week Ben Brown was on the Saturday morning shift but Shaun Ley presented dateline.

It used to get a single live airing at 0130 I think (or it could have been 0230, I can’t quite recall).

It’s on world news at 2230,2330,0030,0130 & 0230 GMT. Are they all live?
