Aeoteroa is Maori for New Zeland and is actually a hard word to spell! I;d like to here how someone whos has never heard someone say Aeoteroa pronounce it!

"New Zealand", "I'd", "hear" and "who" on the other hand are usually considered very easy to spell...

Oh, and is that yet another variation on the spelling of your channel name..?

Whatever your not even a kiwi so you wouldnt know much

So not being a native of New Zealand makes me unqualified to spot inconsistent spelling?? Confused

Re-Creating Old TV Presentation

BBCNicky@Yorks posted:
That's good, perhaps you could do one of a Channel ident as well?

A while back, I devised a thread in which I recreated old ITV idents - though this humorously came under harsh critisism from Topov!

Here, I have recreated an old Granada ident from the 1960's, obviously more 'professional' than my previous feeble attempts:

Well, that's a bit better than last time, Nicky! Granted I still can't see the point in doing it, but you have at least tried to use the right fonts.

Anyway, I'm off to spit bile at some other poor unsuspecting mug (see my next post).

Price-change TV

Aren't there enough of these execrable channels already without you imagining up new ones..?

Personally I'd be far more impressed if you could imagine a few of them out of existence!

Lastly, a rolling menu. Hope this passes standards. Wink

So, apart from the fact that the text on the green one is unreadable at the edges, the fonts make them look like a cheap PowerPoint presentation.

I presume this isn't a real channel..? Going by the fact that you've managed to spell the name differently on two occasions...

Abysmal. Sorry. Although it's you who should be apologising.

I quite like these, I take it ITV4 would broadcast old B/W programs?

By the look of it, ITV4 would be a showcase for failed designers.

I really think they should give Graham Norton to do a revamped Generation Game.

I really think they should give Graham Norton a P45. I really had my hopes up when he did a show on American telly, but the little 5hit came back like a bad case of herpes.

Loss of Sky picture....

Try unplugging it from the wall, leaving it for a bit, then coming back. Either that or get a ladder and realign the dish yourself.

Noo-oo, remember Rod Hull! Very Happy

Switch your box off, unplug the input lead from your dish and give it a rub, then plug it in and switch back on. It's a common problem, according to Sky CS.
