BBC Family

I find myself quite liking BBC One and BBC Three. Bit concerned that if BBC Two showed a programme with a long title, you'd obscure some importants bits of picture, and BBC Four doesn't have enough emphasis on the programme title.

Oh, and I can't really see Auntie using the basic logo at all, but nice work.

actually, the ITV 1 logo is actually a screen ident and not a logo.

Gosh, where to begin...

Firstly - Eurostile went out with the 60s.

Secondly - using screengrabs from screensavers as backgrounds just doesn't cut the mustard.

Thirdly, the numbers are obscured by "itv".

Fourthly, couldn't you get any images of the UK..?

Sorry, no redeeming features at all, I'm afraid.

The Mock of the Month?

FWIW, my take on the whole council idea is that it sucks arse. I like the idea of a "mock of the week" (although perhaps monthly might be more practical), but the idea that nominations can only be made by an elite few is most unpleasant.

Open it up to everyone - set up a thread displaying the nominations, open a poll to everyone, but set it up so that you can only vote once and can't vote for your own entry.

But please, no "council", no "approved" graphics, it stinks.

Anyway, I don't think this deserves its own thread (sorry to hijack, Alexis) but this is my attempt to improve the Sky Two and Three logos... the 'T' 'H' and 'W' just don't sit right with me in the real versions.

I think they match the the "sky onc" logo very well. And although this doesn't reflect badly on you, unfortunately it means they look rubbish! Laughing
