Sky News presentation - new newswall

Which studio is Entertainment Week filmed from? The chair seems different from the normal newsdesk and there's extra prop lighting and backgrounds to the set.

Sky News: Presenters & Rotas

Eamonn introduced Hannah Tallett as "a new member of the Sunrise team" this morning. Charlotte says she's having a few days off; does that mean Tallett is some kind of formal cover presenter for Sunrise now?

That must have been awkward. I'm surprised they don't get paid.

Sky News: Presentation Discussion

Where? Really? I ONLY SAW Isabel Webster, Paul Harrison, Rachel Younger at the newswall!

Do you mean Paula Middlehurst was at the newswall? Smile Razz

Stephen Dixon was at the newswall several times this morning during Sunrise.

Sky News: Presentation Discussion

Considering you've been moaning about them using the newswall more for a long time now, I'd have thought you would be jumping for joy that they got the main presenter at the TOTH on the newswall.

Georgie Thompson has resigned from Sky Sports F1 and may be joining BT if Sky don't give her a primetime billing on something important.

But how would they improve the channel's news reporting?
How would that make the news more informative for the audience?

How does alternating strap and background images make Sky News Arabia any better than Sky News UK?

Sky News: Presentation Discussion

Watching Sky News Arabia now, the graphics are not better than the UK version. The only thing that is better is the set usage, which is something other members here have suggested Sky News UK do more of - which would be good.

I don't see any major problems with Sky News at the moment, and it certainly doesn't need a huge overhaul.

Sunrise is a good programme with Eamonn Holmes and Charlotte. I think the weekend edition is quite stale and I don't think Stephen Dixon is suited to morning television.

Eurovision 2013 - 14/16/18 May 2013

Last year got very repetitive by the end - good to see SVT doing it differently.

Papal resignation & conclave coverage

Colin Brazier (I think?) is a Catholic so that might make sense. From when I've seen him reporting on religious news he definitely seems to be in the know about issues, especially relating to the Catholic Church.

It sounds like you are talking about Holby Blue.

No, Holby City is a spin off of Casualty, and Holby Blue was a police spin off of Holby City.
